| "This year, I attended ASNR 2024 in Las Vegas as a speaker in a session organized by AOSNHNR. It was my first time attending ASNR, and I am deeply grateful to the AOSNHNR committee for this opportunity. The conference offered a great mix of social and academic events, including American-style headshots, parties, and a leadership celebration at the gala dinner. I was impressed by the active engagement from the business sector. Also, I recognized the significant role AOSNHNR in the American and global neuroradiology communities. |
| I had the pleasure of meeting many friends from different countries. When I chatted with them, they were busy greeting other acquaintances, and we all naturally connected and became friends together. It may sound like a typical conference experience, I believe a conference is a place to meet friends and share both academic and social experiences. This can perhaps be done online, but in-person meetings are essential for building meaningful relationships. I believe that AOSNHNR is one of the meetings for this.  AOSNHNR members were part of the Australasian team at the ASNR 2024 charity poker tournament. We didn’t win (but we came close!), but it was a fun and worthwhile contribution to charity! |

Was quite an experience participating in ASNR 2024 charity poker tournament as it turned out to be a crash course in poker from the beginner’s table to the winner’s table in just a few hours.
